In my current position as a Transition Counselor with the Army, our goal is to make sure Soldiers get the services they are entitled to and the assistance they need to make a smooth transition. There are some services that are required and others are laundry. These services are obtained through briefings, workshops, classes and individual counseling. Initially all feedback was word of mouth, but there needed to be a better system in place to determine if Soldiers were actually getting the services needed.
Purpose A large number of Soldiers were leaving the Army and using the services but there was no measure to determine if they had gotten all the services needed. Process If Soldiers had to complete a survey during and after their transition along with one-on-one Counseling, then there would be a way to track progress. Research design Surveys would be conducted over a certain time period to determine exactly if and what services were being used by each Soldier. Ethical standards applied An outside firm would create the survey to make sure the data was not skewed.
Limitations reveled Flaws in the procedures could include some Soldiers not wanting to complete the surveys or not starting the process in time to complete required workshops. Analysis Soldiers have various reasons for not getting all services. This included not wanting to use the program, not starting in enough time to complete, not having the support of their unit, or even being deployed. Presentation of findings Findings are presented to the company heads and managers based on interviews and counseling notes and suggestions are made.
Conclusion The company decides a way to make sure all Soldiers participate in the process and have access to the resources. This included creating distance or virtual classes as well as online classes. Researchers experience reflected The firm was qualified with a good reputation for collecting and interpreting data. If we think biblically a great example would be the story of Noah depicted in Genesis 5:32-10:1. Due to the wickedness of man, God had decided to story man. So the Lord said, “l will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them” (Genesis 6:7, NJ). In this case, there was not really a problem except for maybe a fear of the unknown. God favored Noah and picked him and his family to be the survivors of the flood. God systematically told Noah how to construct the ark and what materials to use. God also told him exactly who and what to bring on the ark down the smallest detail. God was unhappy with man and decided to destroy both men and beast cause of their wickedness.
But God found favor in Noah and his family. Noah had to get ready because a flood was coming. Process God chose Noah and his family to build an ark and be safe from the destruction. Research design God gave specific instructions on how and what to make the ark out, what to bring on the ark and the specific number of each type if animal to bring on the ark. Ethical standards applied God provided direction on the inhabitants of the ark to include Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives, seven of each clean animal, two of each animal that was unclean a male and a female. Limitations reveled
The only limitations would come about if Noah did not follow God’s exact order by letting others on the ark or not building the ark large enough to handle all that God told him to bring aboard. Analysis The analysis came during the 40 days Of the flood and the 1 50 days it took for the waters to decrease. Presentation of findings Everything was destroyed and after the flood Noah sent out a raven the first time, a dove and then waited seven more days and sent out another dove who came back with an olive branch showing growth but he waited another seven days before sending out another dove and decided to open the ark.
Conclusion God had not only destroyed the people but He had also dried up the land so that Noah, his family and the animals could come off the ark onto dry land. God made the covenant with the rainbow in the sky as the symbol. These findings are documented in the bible for all to see and read. Researchers experience reflected God’s love, favor and disappointment are shown throughout this time. In both cases, business or biblical it was all about the research. “Business research is a field of practical study in which a company obtains data and analyzes it in order to better manage the company’ (Miranda).
